TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It says the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.
Platforms
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should be a good addition when it lands.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The execution is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and what you get holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
Here is the thing that matters. Tab Trade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. This does not make it safe. It does be part of your assessment.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off makes sense depends on you.
